Funny Moment

It has been a busy couple of days. I took Friday off because I wanted to relax and take it easy, lay out by the pool with the dogs and maybe even squeeze in dip in the pool. Well I was way wrong. I ended up cleaning, doing laundry, and just doing the small things that I don't normally get to do. I also went to a wine bar in Santa Monica called Bodega Wine Bar. It was nice, I finally found a wine that I like, Riesling Dr. L. It was soooo good. I'm on a hunt to find out where they sell it. I believe it is a white wine. Anyway... the place was nice... it had a Sex In The City look to it.. Oh and it was damn hot in there. I swear by midnight I was so ready to split.

So it hit me today. I think I might be getting to old to be baby sitting. Seriously. I was sitting there babysitting two little girls earlier... and I thought... I'm going to be 26! I can't babysit anymore... really! I just can't! :) Well, we'll see how long that lasts.

I did have a funny moment with the six year old I was watching. All the female readers will get a kick out of this.

So we are having dinner and this is how the conversation went-

Girl: I want my neighbor Charles to come over

Me: No Charles can't come over.... wait isnt Charles your crush

Girl: (smirks) Yes

Me: Oh... then yeah.. he still can't come over

Girl: He told me he was moving

Me: Where is he moving to?

Girl: Oh he's not moving, he just lied to me, but I still like him... even if he lies

Me: Oh

Damn... it starts so young!
